ABOUT THIS BUTTER
This creamy and luxurious body butter has only one ingredient: unrefined (raw) shea butter. It is a natural fat that comes from the nuts of the shea tree, also called the Karite tree. This is a typical African tree that grows in the Savannah. This body butter has a nourishing effect on very dry skin, and it also increases the elasticity of the skin. It contains vitamin F, which is very good for skin recovery. Shea butter melts at 31 Celcius which makes it very easy to apply to your skin. Raw shea butter has a distinct nut-like scent.
SUITABLE FOR:
A (very) dry skin and/or dry, damaged hair.
HOW TO USE (BODY):
This body butter is made without adding water to create a pure product. Applying this butter works better if your hands are warmed up. Take some butter out of the can (you can use a spoon if necessary) and let it melt between your fingers before applying it onto your skin.
HOW TO USE (HAIR):
This butter is also very suitable as a hair mask. Shea butter is a natural conditioner: it improves the hair structure, it's moisturizing and it stimulates hair growth. First you apply a small amount on dry hair. Begin at your scalp and then work your way down towards the outer tips of the hair. Massage thoroughly, comb through and let it rest for at least 10 minutes (up to one night/10 hours). Wash thoroughly after use. You can also use this product as a conditioner, use a bit after washing your hair, let it rest for a minute or two and then rinse. For extra dry and frizzy hair you can apply a very small amount onto clean hair for styling.
